Hybrid of Dorothy Benedict x montana. Very appropriately named as the foliage corrugation resembles alligator skin. Leaves 10 1/2"long x 5"wide, 1/8"wide leaf margin changes from yellow to white during the growing season; leaf centre dark green with many grey green streaks and streaks of corrugation between the veins. Pale lavender flowers on 30" scapes in July.
