sieboldii sport. Small arching sometimes rhizomatous mound of narrow, rippled, chartreuse to gold-centred, green margined foliage. Leaves 6 1/4"long x 2"wide with a 1/4"wide green margin. Leaf blade narrowly elliptic, moderately wavy, smooth textured and slightly shiny underneath. Petiole chartreuse outlined in green. Increases rapidly in a hot humid climate with lots of moisture. Pale purple flowers on 16"scapes in August. Equally wonderful as an edger or in pots where you can see it up close.
