LEADING LADY

The beauty of this hosta can only be appreciated at maturity with its large satiny upright presence.  Leaf blade 13"x 11", very broadly ovate, dark green in the centre with a thin yellow irregular margin, moderately wavy, slightly corrugated, thick substance, satiny above and glaucous below, dimpled and puckered, prominently veined. Petiole pale green outlined in cream. Lavender flowers open at the top of the scape in July.
