Sport of Indigo from Mark Zilis, 2011. The leaves are intensely blue with a chartreuse margin, moderately wavy, lance shaped, glaucous on top. Near white tubular flowers bloom from late July into August. I have admired the parent plant Indigo in my garden for a long time as the intense blue color lasts well into the season until the plant flowers. Many other blue hostas are loosing their intense blue color by this time making Indigo stand out. Picasso is just as colorful.
