The white centres of the leaves feel thicker as if some of the leaf material is drawn in. Another high maintenance hosta as it will send up solid green shoots that must be culled. Some shoots will also have much less white in the centre and the centre will not be drawn in ; these shoots must be culled as well. Lavender flowers in midsummer.
