MIRACLE LEMONY

Seedling of H. tsushimensis from H. Sugita. This was the first yellow flowering hosta to be introduced.  Flowers are bell shaped, very pale yellow in color on 30 inch scapes. Flowers are not a vibrant yellow as seen in some website photos. Leaves are green but the flowers are the interesting aspect as they are fertile and can offer hybridizers something different to work with. Place this hosta in a sheltered location where the soil stays cooler longer as Miracle Lemony likes to emerge early and can get hit by late spring frosts.
