A Sea Prize seedling from Jim Schwartz of Dubuque, Iowa. An attractive colorful mound of moderately corrugated leaves, 10 1/4"long by 7 3/4"wide. The leaves are bluish to green in color with many gold streaked and mottled areas . The variegation is highly variable from leaf to leaf. It has a medium to slow growth rate. Pale lavender flowers are produced in July on 24"scapes; forms many seed pods. As with many streaky hostas you will need to take this hosta apart every few years to remove the solid colored blue shoots or they will take over the plant.
