ULYSSES S. GRANT

A 2001 seedling selection from Peter Ruh. Vase shaped mound habit, rich blue-green foliage arches outward from petioles that are held nearly vertical. Leaves 14 "long by 11"wide, broadly ovate shaped, moderately corrugated and rippled, wavy, thick substanced, thick underside bloom. Semi-bell shaped very pale lavender flowers produced from early to late July on 50" scapes that tend to droop due to the many seed pods.
